The Cliffs of Moher Hotel is located in Liscannor village in North Clare and is the perfect place for your Clare Weekend Break. Liscannor is a quiet harbour area merging with rural farming north Clare hinterland. Looking out onto the magnificent Atlantic Ocean, the bay is named after the village. Liscannor Bay sweeps across to the seaside resort town of Lahinch with its world class championship links golf course.

The village derives its name from 'Lios Ceannuir', meaning O'Connor's Fort. A ruined castle above the village is another O'Connor stronghold which was granted to the O'Briens by Elizabeth I. Ships of the Spanish Armada sought aid in the bay.

From Shannon Airport, take the N18 to Ennis. Take the Ennistymon exit, where you will get on the N85 to Ennistymon. Upon entering the town of Ennistymon, there is a junction showing a sign for Lahinch and the Cliffs of Moher - take this left towards Lahinch. Before entering the town of Lahinch take the right turn at the Lahinch Golf Course signposted for Liscannor. Entering Liscannor, The Cliffs of Moher Hotel is on your right hand side.
